Food and Behavioral Health Part 1

Started In the 1970s, The East, based in Central Brooklyn, had been a cultural and educational organization dedicated to the interest of for lower caste people. It published research on behavioral health in its newspaper Black News. Several studies in the early 1980s showed the benefits of eliminating white sugar, coffee, caffeinated beverages, alcohol, artificial colors and flavors, preservatives, and chemical additives from your diet. Doing so reduces one’s chances of regularly experiencing depression, mood swings, fatigue, attention deficit, anxiety, headaches, migraines, and hyperactivity.
