For example, as was the case of Malcolm X or the character Daniel in the old testament, you’re a child from a family who observes religious dietary restrictions like not eating pork. How do you exercise agency over what you eat when your convictions put you conflict with the person who purchases and prepares your food? And when you can decide, what are you choosing to eat and drink?
