More on comedian and activist Dick Gregory’s oral history about Naturopath Dr. Alvenia Fulton (1893-1999). Gregory described her as one of the finest minds he had ever met. He highlighted that as someone who knew what combinations to put together, Fulton had been a master herbalist. She was an expert on nutrition too as well as kind and patient. Her life had not been easy because she suffered watching members of her own family and friends reject her knowledge of how to prevent and or reverse the destructive effects of cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease. Yet strangers came to her for the same problems and got results because they trusted her advice.
