Dr. Alvenia Fulton (1893 to 1999) had been a renowned dietitian and herbalist in Chicago. Over the course of her career, Dr. Fulton served as the dietitian for celebrities seeking to obtain and maintain a healthy and fit bodies and great-looking skin through her wholefood plant-based diet. Dr. Fulton prescribed this vegetarian recipe below frequently to celebrities whose health and the appearances in large part determine their opportunities and income.

Vegetable Soup Recipe

Chop finely after washing thoroughly white cabbage, celery, green pepper, onion, garlic, carrots, parsleys, green beans, okra, green pears, and tomatoes. Simmer about 30 minutes. Season with the herbs of your choice and olive oil. [At her store/restaurant Dr. Fulton apparently developed and sold a Fultonia Herb Seasoning package]. For additional protein, add chicken bouillon cubes or soy meat. You can vary this recipe by cooking brown rice or soy noodles or bean sprouts separately and add them to the soup. This makes a balanced meal with all the needed vitamins, minerals, proteins and enzymes. Cooking vegetables with heat above 119 F degrees destroys some of their food value.  If you make too much soup, you can refrigerate and re-heat it when desired.
