Although campaigns tend to benefit from the strong relationship that food has to bringing people together, restaurants in swing states such as Ohio typically get a boost in traffic due to seasonal customers brought in by the campaign trail. Restaurants and bakeries capitalize on the influx of hungry campaign aids looking for good eats that they can only find in the Midwest.
