Hall of Famer Don McPherson on Masculinity and Sports

Don McPherson is a native of Long Island. He was an outstanding Quarterback at Syracuse University where he came in second in the Heisman Trophy voting in 1987. Don is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame. Today he speaks on college campus about violence against women. He is the father of two daughters who is raising on Long Island. Fred ask him about his youth sports experience, being a black quarterback as high school prospect and going into the NFL draft. The also talk about his work on college campuses and how his views on sports have evolved since he retired from playing in 1994.
