The nutritionist and medical professionals that I interviewed for my book Hog and Hominy made many suggestions to help improve our health. First, remove soda from your list of preferred beverages and replace it with water, low fat milk, or rice, almond, or soy milk. You can purchase plant based milk with plain, vanilla, and or chocolate flavoring. It also comes sugar sweeten or un-sweetened. Thus like cows milk, not all plant based milk is created equal.
