Syracuse Alum and Navy Seal Rorke Denver
In honor of Memorial Day, an interview with former Navy Seal Rorke Denver. He grew up in Northern California in a water polo hotbed. With relatives who attended Syracuse University, he grew up watching the orange compete on national televised games. He took up lacrosse late in high school and grew to love the game. Today we learn about his lacrosse journey and his decision to join the Navy Seals. Denver talks about playing for Hall of Fame Coach Roy Simmons Jr. and with a number of Syracuse Hall of Famers, the drive to win through the axis of athletic competition and on the battlefield and similarly a look at leadership. Denver served as a team captain during his playing days at Syracuse and he has lead men into battle as an officer and Navy seal.
