CW Post Alum And Hall Of Famer Tom Postel
A native of Nassau County, New York, Tom Postel played collegiate lacrosse at CW Post where he still holds the school’s career points records. He played for Long Island Lacrosse Club and was a US national team selection in 1974 and 1978. Postel would go on to coach at CW Post, Long Island lacrosse club, and the 1986 US National Team. He has seen, played with, and coached some of the best lacrosse players of all time Jimmy Lewis, Frank Urso, Ron Fraser, Stan Kowalski. As one of his former Long Island lacrosse club players, I wanted others to hear his oral history and his thoughts on the best of his generation.
