This is an interview for students of the game that unpacks lacrosse on Long Island, college recruiting, legendary college coaches and players. A native of Syosset, New York, Brendan Scheck earned All American honors at two positions, attack and midfield and at two schools, Navy and Hopkins. He also played on two U.S. national teams in the 1980s. Many consider Schneck one of the greatest players of all time. The NCAA named him to its 25th anniversary team in 1985. Before the interview we share an editorial on the recent college admissions scandal. Follow the Fred Opie show and the content Fred shares on his website, Twitter and Facebook.
