Brown University alum and Hall of Famer Darren Lowe
Brown University alum and Hall of Famer Darren Lowe is a native of Mineola, York. While playing for Hall of Famer Dom Starsia at Brown, Lowe helped the Bears earn three NCAA tournament bids in four-years. Lowe’s individual honors include All-American, All Ivy League and Ivy rookie of the year and player of the year. He also earned national attackman of the year and player of the year. Lowe is Second-leading scorer in NCAA Div. I lacrosse history with 316 points. His post collegiate playing career includes a three-time club player of the year and two-time national team selection. Like the Adams and Bushes who have had father and son serve as US presidents, Darren is a member of the national Lacrosse Hall of Fame along with his father Alan Lowe and younger brother Kevin.
