Babson Professor of History and Foodways Fred Opie shares his favorite podcast

This week I share an author interview on the books set in antebellum South Carolina during the Civil War era and thereafter. It is a story I a familiar with but now we have an entire book on the topic, the life and times of Robert smalls. This is a compelling story of ingenuity, courage, and overcoming. The other podcast that I'm sharing this week are a collection of shows that enjoyed recently and some from past listens that had been so good that I thought to share them today. They're all great podcast for a long road trip, cooking, baking, doing chores around the house. I also host two podcast one on sports in which I scratch my lacrosse itch while sharing life lessons Learn through interviews with coaches, players, and parents. The other is my food podcast; a collection of interviews  and recordings of book talks and lectures I've given. You'll find a link to my podcast below. Happy listening
